Tomes Tuition provides services to nurture students’ academic and intellectual growth.
These activities bring our tutors into contact with children, whether at a student’s home, online or school setting. We believe that it is our responsibility to ensure that children are protected from any type of abuse, and that their welfare and wellbeing is our first concern when dealing with safeguarding issues.
In this Safeguarding Policy, we have outlined our procedures for safeguarding to protect children and young people, to ensure that our tutoring is always conducted in a positive, safe and nurturing environment.
At Tomes Tuition, we are committed to reviewing our policy and good practice annually.
Our tutors are Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and First Aid trained.
At Tomes Tuition we appreciate that life throws all sorts at us, both good and bad, and sometimes plans have to change. Our Holiday and Sickness Policy outlines the timeframes and processes for how to handle both planned and unplanned changes to your sessions.
We strive to fit sessions around your busy lives and schedules and greatly appreciate having the same courtesy extended.
